Pest Control Technician / Fertilization and Weed control Technician (Spray Technician) Lawn Care - Year-Round Employement

Join our team and work with brand-new equipment every year! We maintain beautifully manicured lawns by performing treatments such as fungal control, fertilization, and weed control for our lawn maintenance ad landscape clients.

We are also seeking a dependable Pest Control Technician to service residential and commercial accounts. This position includes inspecting properties, identifying pest activity, applying treatments and educating customers on prevention.

Requirements:

● Nevada Custom Pest Control License [C1, C2 and C6, required]

● Experience applying fertilizer, weed control, and pesticide chemicals [2+ seasons; preferred]

● Reliable transportation to get to job sites

● Willing to take a pre-employment drug test

● Driver's License Preferred

● Capable of working up to 10 hours+ outside

● Capable of walking, bending, and on your feet 10 hours+ outside

● Capable of pushing, pulling, lifting 50 lbs.

● Able to clearly and effectively communicate in English (50% preferred)

● Ability to use a smartphone or tablet

● Work independently and self-starter

● Perform pest inspections and treatments

● Identify insects and rodents

● Apply pesticides safely and according to label

● Provide excellent customer service

● Complete service reports

● Maintain the company vehicle and equipment

● Educate customers on pest prevention and recommendations

● Set and maintain traps and bait stations

Job Details:

● Mon-Fri 6:30am-4pm (occasional later days during peak season)

● Wages range from $20 - $28/hour

● This is a P4P position

● Manual outdoor labor in all types of weather conditions

● Service Area: Reno/Sparks

● Desire to make customers' properties look amazing

● Independently manage the transportation and application of fertilization and weed control products for residential properties

● Daily complete an assigned route of homes to be serviced via product application

● Utilize routing and client management software

● Answer client questions and concerns in a respectful and professional manner

● Fulfill services respecting client requests and property details, ensuring company standards are maintained
